Dearest Daughters,
At first glance, the photo below would indicate that I am a horrible mother. Because 1) I let this happen and 2) I took a photo of it instead of stopping it.
But, what this photo really says is 1) Danjo has amazing, super climber skills. And 2) I FULLY trust her physical capability-ness.
Hearing Danjo tickling the ivory is not an unusual sound in our house, since she's been able to reach up and swing off of the edge of the keys like a monkey for the past few weeks. So, when I heard her playing the piano, I didn't think to look over from my Very Busy Life of Day Old Donut Eating. Five minutes later, I happened to glance her direction. And instead of freaking out and rescuing her from a dangerous situation, I was all: HOLY SHIT! BEL, WHERE'S MY CAMERA?!
After my Very Observant and Clumsy daughter told me where the camera was, I took a picture of my Very Impulsive and Physically Adept daughter who had climbed on top of a rocking chair, stood tippy-toed on its arm and (at this point) played piano for 6 and a half minutes.
And relax, no one died or even lost an eye.
Love,
