Rep. Jim Moran recently put forth an amendment to ban Styrofoam cups in the House cafeteria. These nitwits are beyond parody

Working on the actual problem usually takes the majority of our math time. A typical day might be a 5-10 minute warm-up, 20 minute problem, 10-15 minute mathematician's chair. But that's not set in stone--somedays we do a longer whole-group warm-up and a shorter problem.http://www.appdesignify.com

I’m really impressed the design and layout of your site. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme? Exceptional work!

Great Job. Thanks a lot for you informative post.

@Christina - extremely true! I know these things in my mind and could always verbalize them in an intellectual discussion (having gone to a women's college and all!) But, when it came down to it, I realized how much the current was holding me and my heart and mind down.

We're living in a society that doesn't respect the work of moms (stay- at -home or otherwise). It's hard to swim against that current and remember the value of it. I am comfortable with my decision to stay home with my kids for now, especially since my older son has special needs. But I hear many comments from well-intentioned friends and family who wonder when I will "go back" to work. I have to remind myself that I never went away from work; it just changed shape.
